Lots of household objects (such as the shoes seen below) all have a variety of different features, when brought to life can become their characteristics.
The school shoes can symbolise both wealth and power, due to their strict and smart appearance, on the other hand the run down high-top can be seen as inferior due to it being dirty as well as other faults like its eye.
Other potential ideas, that I have had are;

Media Studies - A2 project - create a music video
From - www.ridwanahmed.blogspot.com
For this project, three peers and I were assigned the exercise of creating a music video. All being fans of rock music, we decided to film our video with use of 'Mr Brownstone', by Guns N Roses as the song.
Final Video
Animation in the video - Rather than conforming entirely to traditional rock video conventions, I raised the idea of using animation in the video. This emphasised the effect of the drugs on my character and gave the video a postmodern twist, creating a wider target audience.
Test video - Drug scene
Due to my 'test subject' (my younger brother) being only 11 I have left out the scene 'taking of the drugs', however, still edited all of the other shots, to give the appearance that he has taken drugs.
Storyboard for the drug scene
Ancillary Tasks - Once the video was complete we were assigned another task, each to create both a poster promoting a Digipak, including a Digipak cover. Throughout the project I have made a variety of animate band pictures, to promote the imaginery band (White Lightning).
Sticking with this postmodern twist, I designed these;
Final Touches - After putting our heart and souls into this project achieving 98 out of the total 100 points, I decided to suprise the group by putting the video on separate discs for a keepsake and 'Lightscribed' them with my distinct designs, creating unique discs for each member of the 'band'.

Detailed animation
To create this short, I filmed my little brother. Then recreated the shot in the form of a cartoon, as well as, in the form of 'The Gorrilaz'.
Guitar Design
I have been playing the guitar since I was 7. My first guitar was a red Peavey 'Raptor'. At the age of nine I bought a 'Sunburst' Gibson 'Les Paul Standard' and finally for my 17th birthday, 10 years after starting I recieved an Adam Black 'Hydra'.
To continue my collection, I am planning on redecorating the body graphic of an Ibanez GRGR121EX.
The following images are some of my favourite and potential designs.
My pet chameleon inspired me to create this design. The following picture shows the stages of creating the design.
After adding the final touches, this is how the final product looks.

One of my friends has also asked me to design and paint the body of his guitar. The following image is the final design.
Animating and live action
This short film (below) was my first attempt at combining animation and live action together. Although, the animation is reasonably basic I feel that it is still quite effective due to a variety of camera shots that emphasise the size of the stickman, compared to the scale of his surroundings.
These screen shots are good examples of the character interacting with the environment, giving the effect that the stickman is actually there.
Character Designs
A few of my friends had seen and admired some of my other work, which resulted in me creating a stylised cartoon picture of their band ‘Atmosfear’.
After posting their image on ‘Facebook’ another of my friends, Sam James requested an album cover for his CD ‘The White Room’, in the same style of cartoon. Using my image for the album cover, he has gone on to release it on both ‘Amazon.co.uk’ as well as ‘iTunes’.
The first two images are the original pictures, followed by the finalised CD cover.
Photography
Photographs can portray and create emotions in numerous ways, here are a few I have taken;
I have combined and edited two images from the internet to create the following piece. The original sunset picture and the hands were originally in colour however, I used a greyscale tool to colour the outer image, accentuating the centre of the photograph with its vibrant colour, giving the piece, in my opinion, more impact.
